I needed to be back in Den Haag before noon on Friday, so it made sense to travel halfway today and spend the night in Dortmund.
And it turns out Dortmund has one of the largest Christmas markets in Europe — 300+ stalls and more than 3.5 million visitors each year.
Here’s a few photos from the market!
When Stephanie gets back from Iowa, we’re going to head back to Germany for a river cruise to more Christmas markets in Germany and France — including Strasbourg, the so-called Capital of Christmas.
Just beautiful! I need to think about going to Europe during the holidays.
