Den Haag’s Clingendael Park has a small Japanese garden that’s open for a few weeks in the spring and fall.
The fall opening was today and runs through November 3.
While it’s understandable that the park is open for limited time each year in order to protect the fragile ecosystem, the end result is that it is quite crowded when it actually is open. Still definitely worth a trip if you are visiting in late April or mid-October!
